The brand Balisto
The Balisto chocolate bars were first produced and sold in 1981 in West-Germany by Mars. Their popularity quickly grew which led to the expansion to the rest of Europe, right now it is being sold in over ten European countries. The success of the brand is built on their delicious candy bars like the cereal snack and the muesli mix.
The two Balisto flavours
At Dutch Expat Shop you can find the two flavours of Balisto bars, the muesli mix and the cereal mix. They both have their own signature package, so they are also known as the green Balisto and the orange Balisto. The green one is a chocolate bar with a biscuit of whole grain, a hazelnut cream and raisins. The orange bar consists of a whole grain biscuit with cereal and is of course also coated in chocolate.
